Q4. Is there an exact process to convert from CMYK to DIC?
⇒ Search by specifying CMYK values on the Search Screen. A DIC Color Guide number that is close to the specified CMYK value is searched.
Q5.Do the DIC numbers in the Color Guide given with the app use the colors from the 20th edition, which is the most recent?
⇒ The information in the Digital Color Guide app is from our DIC Color Guide standard color database.
Q6.Do you know the chromaticity coordinates that correspond to DIC colors? If so, we would like to know the chromaticity coordinates of DIC-641 and DIC-2597.
⇒ The chromaticity coordinates of the DIC Color Guide are not available to the public. If you would like to receive information on chromaticity coordinates and other color values from the DIC Color Guide, please inquire with us, as a separate contract is required.
Q7.The CMYK values and numbers in Adobe software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) for the DIC Color Guide are different. Which is correct?
⇒ The DIC Color Guide information in Adobe software is proprietary to Adobe. The values we publish are our recommendations.

Q9.Is the DIC Digital Color Guide for Android currently available?
⇒ Distribution of digital Color Guide data to Android phones ended in October 2020. This is a result of the fact that the screen displays of Apple's mobile devices such as the iPhone have a more stable color gamut, and we have focused the operation of the Digital Color Guide on the iPhone and iPad based on our concept of "wanting our customers to see colors correctly. Therefore, we do not currently support releases, upgrades, etc. to Android-based operating systems.
Q10.Can I convert from PANTONE (PMS) to DIC color reference?
⇒ Unfortunately, it is not possible to convert.
